Circle of Life Ignite – mothers and friends who have experienced the trauma of losing a child to youth violence

Circle of Life Ignite is driven by a group of mothers and friends who have personally endured the heartbreak of losing a child to youth violence.

The organisation was founded in 2018 after a young person was tragically killed at a community centre, an event witnessed by parents and children under the age of 12.

NBBL has partly funded towards this touching cause so they may offer a variety of workshops run members and supporters who know the emotional and physical toll that grief can bring and dedicate time and effort support to mothers who have recently faced similar tragedies, providing compassionate listening, guidance, and a safe space as they navigate their healing journey and begin to rediscover hope.

One of the members commented “My god, absolutely beautiful, what colours and arrangements. Truly heart lifting well done everyone, so creative, amazing!”
